Perlite Expansion Furnace Plant

The expanded perlite is one kind of white granule with Honeycomb structure inside and it is produced when Perlite ore Preheated and Instantaneous high temperature roasted. The Principle is that expanded perlite is crushed by the ore, dealed with the rapid heating (1000℃ above). After the moisture vaporization ores and minerals in the particles soften internal expansion, the formation of porous structure, expansion to the original 10-30 times.It is divided into two types according to expansion technology and usage and they are open cell and closed cell.
 
The closed cell perlite is also called glazed hollow bead. The product requires perlite ore with special particle size to take expansion in the furnace. By this way, especially the precisely controlling the temperature and the material’s retaining time in furnace , the surface of expansion perlite shall be melted and close all air cells. The apperance comes like ball but cell inside. Compared with traditional open cell perlite, besides the same thermal insulating and acoustic insulation properties, its outstanding characteristic is high intensity, light weight, heat preservation, low water absorbability as well as good miscibility. It is green inorganic light adiabatic material with high performance.

The expanded perlite is white granular (internal cellular structure), non-toxic, odorless, nonflammable, non-corrosive, PH value is neutral (PH6.5-7.5), acid and alkali resistance, light weight, has a strong role in the adsorption and thermal insulation.
